In response to my sister’s little rant about her complete lack of understanding and my allegedly forgetting the date of her birthday, I’d like to share with her a couple key pieces of information she is missing:

a) I am fully aware as I have always been that your birthday is May 6.

b) May 6th is indeed the date on which I had planned to leave for Hawa’ii because that would be the start of the only vacation Charline will have from work, as she planned on going with me.

c) I chose not to miss your birthday and put off the trip until June. Charline will no longer be able to join me, but we will both be able to save money this way.

and finally,

d) I will not be visiting Hawa’ii at all now due to Auntie Anne and dad not communicating properly about my flight information. And now, of course, I need to save my money because I am moving out in a week and will need to start paying rent and other bills.

SO,

e) You can chill out now.
